Kozhikode or Calicut is famous for its culinary variations and supremacy. In addition to this, the people of Kozhikode are friendly and welcoming. This was our second visit to Kozhikode and before we leave back to Kochi we wanted to try some lip smacking breakfast varieties from Salakara (a brand of Paragon Group).
What we tried in Salkara Restaurant, Kozhikode?
1. Mango Fish Curry (Mango Avoli Curry)
Prepared with avoli fish (pomfret) coconut milk and raw mango.
Price: Rs. 800.00 (for a 1 KG fish)
2. Tribal Beef
A dry beef curry prepared with local tribal spices. Spicy yet yummy!
Price: Rs. 160.00
3. Chili Paneer
Price: Rs. 120.00
4. Dancing Tea
Price: Rs. 25.00 (Big) Rs. 15.00 (Small)
What I liked most in Kozhikode Salkara restaurant?
I liked the tangy yet creamy Mango Fish Curry with Puttu. Puttu is a Kerala Breakfast which goes well with the Mango Avoli Curry.
